🚁 FlyDrone Planner — Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the FlyDrone Planner app and website (the “Service”, “FlyDrone”). You are asked to accept them in the app before you can use it, and again whenever a new version is issued. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service is advisory only
FlyDrone is a planning aid, not an authoritative source of airspace, regulatory, or weather information. It aggregates data from third parties (including FAA feeds, weather models, and community map data) that can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong, and some checks may fail or be only partially completed — the app tells you when it knows, but it cannot know everything.
As the operator of your aircraft you are the pilot in command. You alone are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations (including FAA Part 107 and recreational rules), checking official sources (NOTAMs, TFRs, LAANC authorization, local and land-manager rules), and deciding whether it is safe and legal to fly. A green verdict in FlyDrone is never permission to fly.
2. Accounts
The Service requires a signed-in account. You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service (including scraping, reselling data, probing our infrastructure, or interfering with other users).
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through our payment providers (currently Stripe). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled; you can cancel anytime and keep access until the period ends. Free-trial terms are shown at checkout. Prices may change; changes apply from your next billing period after notice. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
4. Community content
Saved spots you contribute to the community layer are aggregated and anonymized as described in the Privacy Policy. You must have the right to share any location you save and you grant us a license to use it in that aggregated form.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or availability. Third-party data sources may change or disappear without notice.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of FlyDrone will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, aircraft, or goodwill, or for any fines or enforcement actions arising from your flight operations. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
7. Changes and termination
We may modify or discontinue the Service or these terms. A material change is issued as a new version, and the app asks you to accept it before you can keep using the Service — we do not treat continued use as agreement. You may decline, stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
